WELCOME HOME !

I wanted to do the Basic course in the “Art of Living” for a long time, but never actually got down to doing it. The weekend starting the 14th of April was a long weekend and all my friends were going to be out of town so I thought let me do this course at the AOL Ashram. Reporting time 9:00 am….

I got up at 6 in the morning packed my bags and drove to the ashram all the while asking my self can the art of living actually be taught?

After parking my car I walked to the reception for registering my self and a board on one side of the reception caught my attention, it read “ WELCOM HOME” strangely I felt there was more to it than just those words I felt every part of the ashram reflected the meaning….

Nandi-8 was the room number allocated to me and I shared it with two other ladies Smitha and Asha. There were 54 of us in the batch which was going to be taken by Fatima who was being assisted by Babeeta. The 54 comprised of men and women of all age, belief and past. All there for their own reasons…reasons which eventually did not matter...

The 3 days from that moment were filled with a lot of discussions, yoga and introspection. I had gone there looking for answers but all I got were more questions….

Who am I?
Where am I?
What will make me happy?
How long do I propose to stay on this planet?
What do I intend to do while I am here?

and only one answer.... "look within"

I don’t know if I am a changed person, or if my way of life is going to be different in the future...

but...

may be I have found HOME!
