Goa a place every one describes as one of the best holiday destinations in the world.
After a long ..long time I traveled by train and that brought back old memories...to add to it the tarin being 4 hours late added the flavour. Starving as we were the "omelet pau" at the station tasted better than any 7 course meal we could have been offered. The cluttered second class compartment with a faint "Chai Coffee" sound of the train pantry worker took me 8-10 years back.....
Gomes Vilas...Portuguese bungalow built in 1931 was where we stayed.....lived... sounds better here some how !What is it that I would relate Goa to, now that I have visited the place...."no inhibitions"
...every one there seemed so comfortable with themselves so sure of how life was going.. of how they wanted it to go. This feeling was contagious....

.... riding on those rusty old rented bikes through the streets of this old Portuguese city felt like being on some other planet.
(Aditi and Dharma getting petrol for the other two bikes)

If I had to look back and think what we did on this trip the answer would be...Nothing !...wow what a feeling of having spent 3 days doing nothing.
Goa...a place I would surely visit many more times in the years to come.........
